Must Love Dogs......

We have 2 dogs, brody who is a Rat terrier and Tink who is a teacup poodle. Brody is black and white and thinks he is friends with everyone and everything. It was Friday night and I had just let the dogs out for the last time for the night. As soon as I sat down, Chris yells, "I smell skunk!" For those who do not know, there is a little black and white friend of Brody's that comes to our backyard every now and then. Brody has "played" with this "friend" several times and still hasn't learned. We ran to the door hoping to catch Brody in time before he had yet another smelly encounter," i think it will be 7" but sadly we were too late... Brody came running to the door and was foaming at the mouth, I think the stunk got him right in the face, poor dog. We ran Brody to the bath tub and mixed our speacial shampoo. Our house smelled like skunk so on saturday I opened all the windows and doors, put baking soda on the carpet and covered everything in sight with fabreaze. I am not sure what is going on but our house still has a skunk like smell and our poor dog knows he stinks but he doesn't know what to do.... so if anyone knows a way to get the skunk smell out of a house I am all ears!

Time Flys!

My goodness! So it has been quite some time since our last post, since the last post, we got married in Vegas and had an amazing reception in Salt lake! It was a fariy tale wedding! Chris went all out! I was picked up from our hotel in a limo and taken to the chapel to be married from there we talked our limo driver into driving us to the famous Welcome to Vegas sign so we could take a picture. Then we went to dinner and after dinner spent the rest of the night playing in Vegas. We were drove around anywhere we wanted to go in a black limo! We stayed at the Paris Hotel on our wedding night and because it was our wedding night we were bumped up to a suite! It was the biggest hotel room I have ever seen! After the fariy tale ended in Vegas we came back to the real world and have just been enjoying being married. We are looking forward to our be-lated honeymoon in January where we will cruise down to Mexico for 8 days! I will try and be more on top of updating this blog.

Engagement Pictures

Okay so we have less than two, thats right 2months till the big day! We have chosen September 26, 2009 to be married in Las Vegas! I'm getting more excited everyday and Chris, well I think he will just be happy when its all done and over with. In the last couple months he has been so good! Everytime I ask him something that is wedding related all I hear is, "what ever you want babe" So far I have picked out my dress, picked the place we will be married at in Vegas, and the place for the reception in Salt Lake, decided on my, I mean, our wedding colors, picked out the wedding invitations, and also worked with the most AMAZING photographer EVER! Our photographer is Chris' cousin Brittany Gray! She is by far the most talented and energetic person I know! I love her energy and can't wait for her to take more pictures! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAXSON!

Its hard to believe that 1 year ago today, I was sitting in the hospital waiting room scared to death! This little guy decided that he was done waiting and was ready to be here 10 weeks early! My nephew is the cutest kid I have ever met! I love him more than I ever thought possible! It was so scary getting the call from Ashton, "you should get up here ASAP, they are taking Jill into the delivery room, she has lost alot of blood and they are going to take the baby" I think that was the scariest phone call I have ever had. I'm so happy that a year later he is perfect in every way! Hope you have the best birthday ever Jaxson! Your aunt loves you so much! ! ! The first picture is Jaxson with his daddy the night he was born. He has sure come along way!

Guess What..!!!

We're engaged! ! ! Chris took me by complete surprise! ! ! Ill try and make this short and sweet so you can ge to the pictures! Chris asked me to dinner at La Caille Resturant last night, silly me I thought nothing of it other than, "cool, fancy place and good dinner" So we get there and we were a lil early so we were walking around by the river and went to this spot where there were twinkle lights, flowers and tress and the sound of the rushing river behind us.. Chris turned to me and said, "hey, I got a questions for you..." in my mind Im thinking, "yes I remembered to record the game," and then he pulls this AMAZING ring out of no where and says, " Will you marry me..?" I was shocked to say the least! ! Of course the subject has came up once or twice but never anything serious. Of course I said "YES", well I think my words were.. " are you serious, is this really happening, are you sure?" I think I made him nervouse because he then said, well are you going to say yes, "OF COURSE" was my response! No set plans as far as when or where but there is an idea of Vegas in September! ! ! Pack your bags people lets go! ! ! !

Tinkerbell!

Meet our new addition! Her name is Tinkerbell, I know not the cutest name but she is 4 years old and kinda too late to change it. Story behind her is, I have been wanting another dog for our Brody to play with for awhile! Chris just kept telling me, NO. Then one Saturday he calls me from work and says, "Do you want a toy poodle", Of course I said. One of his customers didn't want her anymore and so they just gave her to us! She is so cute! ! She is just under 5 lbs and so tiny! Her and Brody are still getting used to each other but before long I know they will be inseperable!

Lake Yuba!

What a crazy memorial weekend! We headed down to catch some sun in Lake Yuba..... too bad the weather man is a liar. We spent the weekend in the rain! ! ! Silly me I forgot my camera, "not like I know how to post pictures yet" but I was going to try. We did get to go fishing in the rain and lucky enough the curse of me being bad luck fishing is now lifted! ! I caught 3 fish in a total of 30 - 45 minutes! It was great!! ! Chris caught way more than I did, but all in all it was a fun weekend. Chris taught us all how to play hearts, the card game and he is a pretty good teacher and not so much a player... he ended up "letting" us win the game! !! We left our dogs with Chris' dad and missed them so much! ! We are glad to be home again with our dogs! Ready for a 4 day work week.... I guess so...

Okay, so since everyone else is doing it, I thought we should join, if you can't beat 'em join 'em. So there isn't alot to blog about lately, other than the fact that we started a blog.
