Mexico!

Our cruise has come and gone and while we had a blast I was ready to be home. The weather was nice but could have been ALOT warmer. We were only able to soak in the sun 1 day the whole trip, the other days we not very warm and they were windy. But anything warmer then 30 or 40 degree and I can't really complaine. Starting the trip we flew out of SLC at 7AM Friday morning. I'm not even up that early on a work day! It was fun to see Cory's face when we loaded the plane and took off... she is 30 something and has never been on an airplane! I wish there were words to discribe the look on her face as the poilot hit the jets and away we went! Once in California we rented and car and headed to Knottsberry's Farm for a fun day of being kids without having kids with us!

after a day at Knott's we headed to the hotel for a good nights rest. Saturday morning we boarded the ship! the weather was about 70 so it was really nice! we boarded and checked out the ship and our rooms and headed out to sea. Once off the coast the sea breeze was a little cold and we had to wear jackets if we were up on deck. The ship I think should have had an age warning "please board if above 50 years old" I swear we were the youngest 4 people on the ship! every where we looked we seen old people! Carnival ships are BY FAR more to our liking. Princess cruises are deffintanly more for the older folk! I'm not sure if my expectations were set too high or what but I was not impressed with Princess, the food was okay, the activites were okay, and the shows again were just okay... There was 1 night I think it was sunday night "i love that i lost track of what day it was" they had a party on the deck and that was alot of fun "with a jacket of course"
Our first stop was in Puerto Vallarta. The ship books excursions and had a zipline activity that looked really fun but it was 100 bucks per person, so Chris being the money smart guy he is, was able to track down a nice mexican guy that was able to score us 2 for 1 tickets to the zipline! it was such a fun experience to fly through the jungle on a line! it was a very fun time and i recommend it to anyone that is going there. The crew that goes with you makes it really fun and paints war paint on your face! we went through the jungle where they filmed PREDATOR.

this was us with our war paint all ready to fly!
then it was off to Matzalan or so we thought... apparently people were getting shot there so they cancled that stop and we headed to Cabo San Lucus a day early!
Cabo was my favorite stop i think! we spent the most time at this place. We were able to hop aboard a double decker booze cruise for the day! it was 4 hours of whale watching, snorkling, a stop at lovers beach, lunch and can you imagine AN OPEN BAR! all this for 30 bucks a person!

then it was off to Ensenada where we seen a blow hole like on the movie fools gold! everytime the tide came in water would shoot out of this rock, it was pretty cool and i will post more pictures later! this post is already getting long. then back to sea for 2 days. and home again! I'm glad to be home and glad to be back at work. I missed my bed and my dogs and my house and my friends! it was a fun trip and I am sure i will be ready soon for another vacation but right now I am happy to be back in the same routine!
